About Sher Heard:

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Sher Heard and I am a Realtor Owner of Comfort Real Estate.  Ventura has been my home since 1985 and even having traveled all over the United States, this is home and will always be where I want to live.  No where else compares to everything we have to offer.

When I came to California to attend college in 1982, Southern California quickly became my forever home.  I have raised three children here, have my grandchildren here and can attest to this being a great place to live and call home.

I have had the opportunity to be in many leadership roles within the community, including being a graduate of Cohort 14 and have made connections with many of our local business people. Our office subscribes to the tenant of supporting small business and our “Thank you for believing in small business” tag line has resonated with our clients and the local community.  Service to our community is an important and integral part of my daily life.  Working closely with local law enforcement on fundraising project and supporting their endeavors, helping house and find homes for shelter animals and fighting cancer through advocacy and fundraising are a few of my favorite ongoing activities.

In the Real Estate Community I have been an active participant in our local Realtor Association, Women’s Realtor Council, and Hispanic Real Estate (NAHREP) groups, serving on the Board of Directors, as a President and Past President respectively.  Being actively involved in the Real Estate Community is important to me and actively for Private Property rights is a priority.

We recently rebranded our office with a fresh and modern look, feel and bold messaging and colors.  We are proud of our agents, and our brokerage.  We have made an impact on the communities we serve and continue to do so.  We are proud of our Comfort Culture and the level of expertise our agents offer.  We adhere to a strict code of ethical behavior, top notch service and expertise.  Thank you for your interest in Comfort and we look forward to an opportunity to help you achieve your goals as related to Real Estate.

Client Testimonials:

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience while purchasing our first home.  Sher is proficient, diligent and enduring.  We felt at ease during the entire purchasing process because of her experience and expertise.  Sher made a long and intricate process a pleasant experience.  We couldn’t have asked for more!”

“Sher is amazing to work with!  She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and she genuinely cares about her clients’ interests.  She always responds very promptly to any questions or concerns.  She is very thorough with all the details that come along with purchasing a home.  We highly recommend Sher to anyone looking to buy OR sell a home.  She is a real pro.”

“I am not someone who usually rights a letter like this, but I want to say thank you for your professionalism and help in dealing with both of my properties.  I know you had a huge project dealing with both of them, but you did it with a smile on your face and no hesitation.  I was very impressed with your knowledge and advise in this matter.  You made the process very easy for me and one thing I really appreciated was your patience with the other Realtor’s banks, mortgage brokers, and of course ME!  I have used several other Realtors in the past, but you went above and beyond what I expected and I will be using your services in the future as well as recommending you to all my friends and family.  Thank you again for your superb work and willingness to take on a difficult project and daily calls from me.”

“Being a single mother I was extremely nervous about the home buying process.  Sher made it so easy and comfortable, she walked us through the process step by step and she made sure we were taken care of every step of the way.  She isn’t just a Realtor who helped me find a house…she was a mother helping one of her own find their first HOME.  I truly appreciate all that she did for my son and I, she is a blessing.  Thank you Sher, we love you!!”

“Sher Heard is someone I have worked with in both business and volunteer capacities for many years.  So of course when it came time to sell my home she was the first call I made.  She is enthusiastic, and knows what she is doing.  I didn’t have one moment of doubt or concern about our sale knowing she was there to help us.  She diligently rolled up her sleeves, and got the job done.  She knew how to negotiate on our behalf and she helped us find a new home that we are thrilled to call our own. We were constantly amazed at what she could get done on our behalf.  We recommend Sher and we wouldn’t work with anyone else.”

“When I met Sher I really didn’t think I would ever be able to afford a home of my own.  But she convinced me to sit down with the lender, discuss what I could afford and at the end of our discussion, I was informed that not only could I afford a home, but I could afford it now, not in a few months or years when I saved more money.  She held my hand and walked me through the confusing and sometimes overwhelming process.  I really believe if it wasn’t for Sher, I would still be renting.”
